Gifts of Stock
The Foundation of City College of San Francisco (EIN# 94-1682567) accepts gifts of stock. A gift of appreciated stock may have significant tax benefits for donors, especially if transferred directly to the Foundation of City College of San Francisco rather than selling it first.
The easiest way to donate stock to the Foundation is by way of DTC (Depository Trust Company). To assure that your gift is received, properly credited and acknowledged for tax purposes, please notify the Foundation with your name and telephone number; the name of the company whose shares are being donated; and the number of shares to be donated.
